Accutron® HP-D

Specification

Are you looking for a contrast medium injector that can be used in many different ways?

The Accutron ® HP-D is a true all-rounder – a double-piston contrast medium injector that was developed for the precise injection of contrast media and saline solution in angiography procedures with high injection pressure, but can also be used in computed tomography.  Its particular strengths lie in 3D angiography and the cone beam CT procedure, due in part to its ability to carry out multi-phase injection protocols and its ability to adjust the contrast medium concentration while simultaneously injecting saline solution.  It has a special CT mode for intravenous injections and is optimized for flat detector CT imaging.

THE ADVANTAGES OF THE ACCUTRON® HP-D AT A GLANCE

Clinical benefit

  • Hybrid CT procedures : In CT mode, the Accutron ® HP-D enables intravenous use in hybrid CT procedures in the angiography suite.
  • Reduction of hardening artifacts: These are reduced by flexible adjustment of the contrast agent concentration using saline solution.
  • Precise dosage : Contrast medium can be administered in precisely dosed boluses and transported to the examination area using saline solution.

Operational benefits

  • Use as a single piston injector : The Accutron ®  HP-D can be adapted to all types of imaging protocols, both for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Reduced workload : The interface to the angiographic C-arm synchronizes the injection and image acquisition.
  • Flexible: The control panel can be swiveled 180°, allowing operation from both sides of the operating table.

Financial benefits

  • Lower operating costs : The contrast agent requirement per patient can be reduced.
  • 2 for 1: The Accutron ®  HP-D can be used in both angiography and computed tomography mode, eliminating the need to purchase an additional injector for CT.
