The Spike with Vent (MU) is a consumable accessory for multiple use. It is used to refill contrast medium syringes multiple times. The Spike has a Luer Lock and is therefore compatible with all bottles from 50ml to 500ml. For each new storage container, it is exchanged in combination with the Day Safe filling tube D or 8h tube systems, thus reducing the risk of contamination.
